The World's Free Repeater Apps for Android and iPhone

I have always been interested in amateur radio, but had been deterred from gaining my license by the exams required. In early 2002 I was speaking to a friend of mine, who explained about the Foundation License, this certainly rekindled my interest. Searching the Web I found my local radio club the Stevenage and District Amateur Radio Society and signed up for the Foundation Course

Which Radio ?

I decided to start with a handheld. Following extensive reading on the web (A very useful site was www.eham.net). I purchased a Kenwood TH-F7E.

Studying For The RAE

The M3BBZ call was a great start. But what I really wanted was to build, and have the potential to operate abroad, a full license was the only way ahead. So I started to study for the RAE

Full License

Passed the RAE and now have my new call - M1HOG

I hope you find my evolving site interesting. Let me know!

Nicolas Pike.
